Recently, declared by IKEA supply Chain (Foshan) Co., Ltd, a batch of stuffed dolls worth about 400,000 yuan was imported and approved by "China International Trade Single Window". Those stuffed dolls are shipped to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Fujian, etc., marking the first business made by IKEA supply Chain (Foshan) Co., Ltd. (South China Distribution Center) project.
The landing of IKEA Foshan Distribution Center is an epitome of Foshan’s support for foreign trade development. Located in Yanghe Town, Gaoming District, IKEA Foshan Distribution Center covers an area of 16 hectares, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. It is a preparatory project of key industry construction in Guangdong Province in 2021.
Currently, the construction of the project is speeding up in a well-planed way. After completion, the project will carry out business of research and development, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing and logistics in South China. The center will cover various functions including import and export, trade settlement, logistics distribution and quality testing, making it the core link of IKEA"s industrial chain layout in South China. It’s committed to building a leading intelligent and green logistics center in China. As scheduled, the project is expected to be put into operation in 2023.
